In the context of the High Level Industrial Dialogue between the EU and Western Balkans, PwC organises in close collaboration with the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, an EU-Western Balkans Cluster Policy Learning and Matchmaking Event on November 22 and November 23 in Zagreb, Croatia.
The significance of a Cluster Policy and Matchmaking Event is high, because it is timely following the enforcement of the Western Balkans–European Union Association Agreement. Up to Eurostat, in the first half of 2017, the agreement has already resulted in 23% growth in trade on both sides. Venture Capital Investment in Western Balkans has increased 231% in 2017 compared to 2016, reaching a volume of € 216 million in 2017.
The Cluster Policy Learning and Matchmaking Event is expected to gather representatives of up to 50 cluster organizations from Western Balkans, the European Union, and other COSME participating countries.
